OUR STORY
Founded in 2015 in London, Yohan May Interiors emerged
from the collaboration of two entrepreneurial friends,
Michele Atijas & Amber Friederichs.
The company started out of necessity when Amber was unable to find a home staging agency that offered the personalisation and curation she was looking for when bringing a property to market after renovations she carried out herself.
The pair combined efforts and named the company Yohan May after Amber’s late father, Johann, and Michele’s late mother, Maj, whom they credit with their passion for interiors.
“The response was humbling,” says Amber. “We completed a penthouse flat in Fulham and a luxurious mews house in Notting Hill within the first month and that was the beginning of what has been an exciting creative journey.” adds Michele.
Since then, Yohan May Interiors have created captivating show homes around Prime Central London, from Chelsea to Knightsbridge all the way to a manor house in Buckinghamshire and
more recently for clients abroad in Monaco.
To date, the company has dressed more than £70million worth of property for sale.
Amber and Michele have grown the company into a design agency that offers a broad selection of interior and furniture services, having completed projects in Amsterdam, Verbier and currently Dubai where the company has launched a new studio.
